How it works

A clear path.
At your pace.

You decide whether our assistance is right for you. We explain the property information, work and fees in writing before you sign.

Let’s talk about your case

The administrator determines entitlement and payment. We help you navigate the process.

  1. 01

    Confirm the records.

Review the potential match and confirm the expected value. Any authorization needed for a specific information request comes first.

  2. 02

    Choose your assistance.

Review the verified expected recovery, covered work, service fee and expected net amount. Proceed only when you are comfortable with the written terms.

  3. 03

    Prepare your documents.

Complete the required agreement, owner authorization and supporting records. Coordinate an accepted notarization when needed.

  4. 04

    Follow through to close-out.

Receive updates and respond to requests. Funds go to you directly. We confirm receipt, reconcile the fee and provide a final statement.

Is MyAssetReturn.com an independent service?

Yes. MyAssetReturn.com is a private assistance service. We help with research, documents and follow-up. Recovered funds go directly to the owner.

What does your assistance cost?

Our standard one-time fee is 18% of covered funds actually received, capped by the signed expected maximum. There is no upfront payment. You may claim directly from the administrator without a locator fee.

Service fee breakdown
ServiceRate
Processing and claim coordination5%
Property research and records review6%
Case coordination and client support5%
Document preparation and administration2%
Total agreed service fee18%

Example: for $12,480.00 in recovered funds, the service fee is $2,246.40 and the amount after fees is $10,233.60.

The written agreement identifies the property, work, expected recovery, fee and expected amount after fees. You review and sign the terms before contracted work begins.

What if more documents are requested?

Our team identifies the specific missing item and explains the next step. The client portal can show the request, and an email notice can direct you back to your case. A submitted document still needs review; adding it does not mean the claim has been accepted.

What personal information might you request?

We never request bank-account or payment-card details, passwords, PINs or one-time access codes. When required for identity or ownership verification, we may request a Social Security number or relevant pages from a tax return. These records are sensitive: we explain what is required and why, and confirm a secure submission method. Do not include them in our general contact form or send them until that method is confirmed. Use the document-submission page only for records our team requests for your case.

Do all forms need a notary?

The requirements depend on the document and claim. We identify the forms that require notarization and confirm the accepted format. An ordinary electronic signature and a notarized signature are different steps.

How can I check my case progress?

Use Track my claim with your public property number or company name. Verified parent-company names may also locate the relevant company. For requested documents, use the private link our team sends you. Status reflects our recorded work and does not guarantee a payment date.

Privacy information

Your information.

The general inquiry form emails your contact name, email address, selected topic and message, plus any optional business name, role, callback number, public property IDs and MyAssetReturn case reference you enter, to our team through Cloudflare. We receive inquiries in our dedicated help@myassetreturn.com business inbox and retain correspondence to respond and follow up. Contact us through the form to request deletion of an inquiry. Do not include identity records, financial account details or credentials.

The property lookup shows public business information only. Document submissions are encrypted in private storage and saved for our team to review. We send you a receipt confirmation and notify our team without attaching your documents. A public property number cannot retrieve uploaded documents.

Only submit documents our team has requested for your case. Receipt does not verify your identity or establish a claim has been filed or accepted. Contact help@myassetreturn.com for document-access or deletion requests. Documents are retained while needed for the case and applicable record obligations; deletion requests are reviewed by our team.
